Development Instead of Entanglement:
How potential and coherence unfold

Prof. Dr. Gerald Hüther (DE)

The neuronal connections formed in the human brain are not determined by genetic programs, but are formed in a self-organizing process based on pre- and postnatal experiences. This involves an unconscious search for suitable solutions to problems via neuronal connection patterns. Ultimately, the aim is to achieve a coherent state in which as little energy as possible is consumed. In the attempt to maintain or restore this “inner balance” in the face of a world determined by adult caregivers, suitable solutions to problems are often only found in the short term, which later turn out to be fatal solution patterns. These more or less pronounced entanglements make the search for more suitable solutions more difficult and prevent the development of a person's inherent potential. Therefore, development, i.e. the liberation from the individual entanglements that have arisen, is the decisive prerequisite for this inherent tendency to unfold in all living things to get going again.

Such a development must be actively sought by the person concerned, i.e. it must be self-willed. The essential step is to rediscover needs and parts of oneself that had to be suppressed in the course of socialization (e.g. zest for life, desire to learn, will to create). The decisive impulse for such a development process is the deep contact with these own suppressed and split-off, living needs and parts.

Find Your Voice - A Magical Loving Kindness Healing Experience
Tanja de Jong (AU)

The Sound Bath is a mind-altering singing experience where everyone contributes to a beautiful sound tapestry which bathes those in the centre of the circle in loving kindness and a connected consciousness. It takes participants to a deeper place of relaxation. Sound Baths facilitate a shift in a persons brainwave state creating flow and brain and heart coherence. Through frequency and entrainment with sound it’s possible and simple to move down from our beta state (normal waking consciousness) to alpha (relaxed consciousness), with the majority of people able to reach theta (meditative state) and even delta (where internal healing can occur). Breath, sound and harmony are raising the inner vibration and leading towards a sense of one-ness.

Tanja de Jong is an award-winning social entrepreneur, philanthropist, well known Australian soprano, global speaker, philosopher and creative alchemist. She is one of Australia’s most successful female entrepreneurs and innovators developing 6 businesses and 4 charities including "Creative Universe", "Creativity Australia", the "With One Voice Program" or "The Song Room". She was appointed a Member of the Order of Australia and named one of the 100 Women of Influence. Tania de Jong has released twelve Albums and her TED Talk How Singing Together Changes The Brain has sparked international interest.

Contemplative Embodied Consciousness
An organic portal into coherence and flow

Dr. Aline LaPierre (USA)

From a psycho-physiological perspective, the development of a contemplative somatic practice constitutes a discipline that cultivates coherence and flow. By employing NeuroAffective Touch Somatic Contemplations™, we shall interact with our biological blueprint, inviting it to guide us towards coherence—the organized state in which the autonomic, emotional, cognitive, and motor systems oscillate in stabilized sequences.

The integration of conscious engagement with a heightened awareness of internal micromovements enhances the relationship between the body and mind. This approach encourages the development of biological creativity and facilitates the exploration of new motor possibilities, accompanied by their respective narrative insights. Furthermore, it fosters a profound connection with our biological selves, thereby improving our capacity to perceive and comprehend the energy patterns embedded within our cellular, genetic, and instinctual programming.

Our primary emphasis is on utilizing life force intelligence as the healing source that grounds our presence within the foundational dimension of our biological experience. When provided with appropriate support, our bodies are aware of the precise movements required to facilitate flow. As we diligently refine our capacity to connect sensations, emotions, and cognitions, their convergence transforms the felt-sense into felt-self. This presentation will:

  • Engage midline, which serves as a dynamic and energetic fulcrum that runs through our center and orchestrates the flow of life force.
  • Sense neuro-affective signaling as it transitions from dysregulated contraction to regulated pulsation, thereby engaging positive autonomic shifts that signal post-trauma growth.
  • Employ self-directed touch to highlight and dismantle unconscious bracing patterns.
  • Examine the neuropsychological convergence of the ears, eyes, and cranial base to recalibrate vigilance patterns

"Tales of In-Between"
with the AION Band -
Christian Berger, Thomas Küng, Jürg Surber, Dominic Doppler
(near the boat landing in Weggis)
at the pavilion by the lake

'Tales of In-Between' is the title of the AION concert at the so-called „Pavillon am See“ („gazebo at the lake“). The creative quartet takes its audiences on a journey into the realms between styles. The music of composer, guitarist and oud player Christian Berger moves between the soundscapes of oriental music, chamber musical ideas and improvised music. The lovingly arranged themes are catchy and are developed and interwoven live with the freedom of improvisation. Individual pieces thus turn into sound journeys. They take the audience out into the world - and back to themselves. The melancholy of the oud, the Arabic lute, characterizes the soundscape, as do the melody lines of Thomas Küng on soprano saxophone or flugelhorn. Dominic Doppler creates a groovy and colorfully rhythmic world on the extended drums, which, together with the bass lines of Jürg Surber on the double bass, form the dynamic foundation of AION's music.

Panel and open space
with Gerald Hüther, Aline LaPierre,  Peter A. Levine
Facilitator: Dr. Urs Honauer

On the fourth day we will look at how the different approaches and perspectives of the four speakers can be combined with each other. This happens in the spirit of the Open Space idea with complementary ideas and also by means of practical and playful discovery between the lecturers and the audience. The fourth day of the festival is always a day of surprise and integration - and an important completion of the three approaches to the title theme. The aim is to network knowledge that has already been presented or brought in in order to pass it on with a visionary attitude.
