Marianne Bentzen
Marianne Bentzen graduated as psychomotor therapist in1980, co-founded the Bodynamic Institute in 1985, and was an international faculty member and training director for 13 years.
She left the B.I. in 1997 and has since developed Neuroaffective Psychotherapy trainings and consultation. She currently teaches in Scandinavia and Europe and has led trainings in 16 countries. Her maps of consciousness include psychomotor development, neuroaffective developmental psychology, trauma theory and Buddhist and Christian spiritual frameworks as well as an intermediate-level understanding of SCT. Marianne has had a daily meditation practice since 1995, and is a student of the Danish spiritual teacher Jes Bertelsen, who teaches core methods from the Tibetan Dzogchen tradition in forms adapted to the Western psyche. Marianne has presented at 25 international conferences, 13 times as keynote speaker and a few times as a panel member. She has also presented workshops at nearly all the conferences she has attended, and has presented as the main speaker at numerous European national conferences and congresses as well as international training forums.
