Whether we realize it or not, relationships are at the very center of
our lives. However, we sometimes struggle to find and maintain
important relationships. Often this challenge is amplified when one, or
both persons, have traumatic experiences in their history, especially
when these are from early attachment wounds.
In this class we
will explore the nature of relationships, first to ourselves, and then
to others, be they business, friendship, or romantic. We will then
discover how to untangle these threads when they have become knotted.
This way we can learn first about our core relationship with ourselves
and then learn not to trigger each other’s traumatic wounds. This way we
can move towards mutual support, greater safety, intimacy, and the
appreciation “of other as other.” Though this is not an easy task, it is
a powerful way to emotional and spiritual growth, and a catalyst for
the process of individuation.
I hope that you will join me in this journey of a lifetime.
