The Tuning Board generates deep and steady stimulations to our central and autonomic nervous systems. It puts the most profound workings of the nervous system in motion in a gentle way. Our human posture stands us on a base of two feet with our spinal cord and nervous system aligned vertically in the field of Gravity. This is the natural design of our human posture. This posture places our brain’s primary interoceptive center over our base of support. This area includes the Insula, Cingulate cortex and Prefrontal cortex. These are the midline brain structures that give us our sense of self ( van der Kolk).

We will practice a felt experience of our moving posture that informs us of our sentient and neural “self” that informs us of our presence and being inside us and the effects of our interaction with the environment in which we exist.
